Our weekly cutoff is Friday at 12 noon for Monday /Tuesday deliveries and/or pickups.
We often extend this deadline to later in the evening, but it isn’t guaranteed, so it’s best to plan to get your order in by 12 noon.
This allows our team the time to source from our local purveyors so that we are delivering the freshest food possible each week, while also reducing food waste by only ordering what we need for production.
You do not need to subscribe! Many of our customers order a-la-carte, whenever they need us. (This means simply adding items from our “All Menu Items” page to your cart, and then checking out).
You will receive reminder texts/emails each week, and order whenever you need support with your weekly meal prep.
However… there are many benefits to subscribing:

4. You can pause, skip, or cancel at any time – no strings attached
Subscribers receive 2 texts/emails every week reminding them to make any changes, skip or cancel before orders run on Friday @12noon.
Our compostable containers are oven and microwave safe. Please review the packaging for meal specific heating instructions. Usually each meal heats up in the microwave in about 1-2 minutes depending on the microwave. And usually about 10 -15 minutes in the oven.
(Be sure to remove sauce containers before heating!)
If you are heating in the oven, we recommend gently mixing the food, loosely covering the meal with tin foil, then heating. Be sure to use an oven mitt as the container will be hot.
You can also heat up your meal in a pan on the stove-top, if you wish.
We create meals that are both satisfying and nutritious. Our meals are generally about 400-550 calories and contain ~5 oz. of lean protein, 4 oz servings of fiber rich complex carbohydrates, and 4oz servings of fresh seasonal vegetables.

Yes, we have a minimum order requirement of $60. This helps us keep our meal prep service
efficient and affordable.
If you do not expect to eat eat a meal in the first 3-4 days, you can freeze it. Simply thaw in the fridge for 12-24hrs before you plan on eating it and follow normal heating instructions on package! (Please be thoughtful about which meal(s) you choose to freeze. Some sauces do not freeze great, and uncooked greens like salads should not be frozen, and should be eaten earlier for peak delectability).
Yes! Every 3-4 weeks, we rotate new Chef’s Specials into our menu, (usually 3 specials at a time), based on seasonality and our customers’ preferences. We monitor our orders each week to spot items falling in popularity so we can remain agile with our menu planning.
Absolutely! Our meals are not only more cost-effective than takeout but also healthier, balanced, and designed to
save you time and effort.
At the moment we deliver once twice, every Monday evening 4-6 & Tuesday morning 9-12. Right now we deliver to anyone in Santa Cruz County.
Deliveries are made by our in-house drivers, (we do not use UPS or FedEx. It is important to us that your meals are delivered with care).
ETA’s are texted/emailed day of delivery.
Delivery Fee= 1-10 miles $6, 10-20 miles $12
(These time frames are not promised, as we are at the mercy of traffic, accidents, etc… But we try our best to deliver in these windows).
At this time we don’t have a set pick up location but are working on securing one in the future.
